Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal was formed in December 1998 and is one of the only privately owned full service deep water multi-modal port facilities within the New York Harbor, strategically located in the center of the Kill Van Kull industrial waterway bordering New York & New Jersey serving an integral role as a maritime route between Port Newark, Port Elizabeth & the New York Harbor. A 30 acres fully paved terminal featuring a new bulkhead installation with a berthing length of 800 feet to accommodate Panamax Vessels, barges, RO/RO, as well as ship to rail facility.

In addition to the 60 rail car unit train, Panamax Vessels, barges & trucks for loading, off loading, trans-loading, lay down of equipment, pre-cast operations and storage of specialized equipment we offer over 250,000 SF warehouse storage space with additional upland property to accommodate the various on going dry bulk cargo storage & warehouse needs.

Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal is a Marsec Secure facility with a modern office building and smart meeting technology, new truck scales, new rail scale, automated equipment, and the latest software applications to facilitate material movement, inventory control, and management reporting.

Our deep water port terminal is an integrated facility with capabilities to accept equipment & product by road, rail and freight shipment. And because we are a privately owned Marine & Rail Terminal with private road access we have the ability to accept cargo 24 hours a day – 7 days a week.
